He didnt say "a couple". He said weeks. Exactly 2 weeks ago. Why are you misquoting to make a point that actually does not exist? Weeks is weeks. Can be 2 can be 4, can be even more. Just childish.

You are seeing an attack when I didn't make one.
It's been a couple of weeks since he said "weeks", and sure it could be 2-4 as you stated...someone else might say it means an open ended amount of weeks. Splitting hairs seems to be a speciality on the forums. I prefer direct communication. So I am asking some fairly simple questions. There has been a lot of content that has been stated as "coming". There are changes from the "town hall" that are supposed to be implemented soon{tm}...I've made it no secret I would like better communication.
I am one of the people waiting for those changes before I jump back in and play...kinda want an idea when that might be.

Although HammerDano does push the date issue a lot, what he said wasn't misquoting anything. He said it had been a couple of weeks and asked if it would be a couple more weeks. In this instance, I don't see that as an invalid question. I might not ask this soon myself, but he did wait for a couple of weeks before asking.

In any case, even if they put out experimental today, there will still be a couple of weeks of experimental (or more) before stable. And with that recent small update, it suggests that experimental is probably still at least a week or two away or they might not have bothered with that update. But we'll see what happens. 2.5 stable isn't likely to be out for a month or so, imo.

In my post to Faatal, when asking about waiting "days" or "weeks" for 2.5 EXP, he answered "weeks". So HammerDano wrote, which is true, that "it's been a couple of weeks" since Faatal's answer to my post so, he was only asking how many more weeks will it take for 2.5 EXP.
You are reading hate and negativity that isn't there and you should actually (I think) apologize for this attack, which happened only because you misunderstood HammerDano's post (as mentioned by a few people already).

There's nothing wrong about doing the right thing.
 
My guess is 2.5 is going to be the new models, increase loot from storms and that's it maybe some QOL stuff

The temperature, coop and bee hive, storm changes and smell and JARS! are 100% going to be a 3.0 which sinks but at least its gonna be here

I think the reason why HammerDano's post could have been interpreted as hostile (or to the least "annoyed") is that he's made clear he demands more communication from TFP. His attitude is, in my opinion, the same you can sometimes find in certain types of clients that think just because they bought something from you, they can boss you around.

So, even if you were wrong in this case, HD has proven over and over again that his "general attitude" is kind of bossy and frankly a little annoying for more than one person here on the forums. And I'm not saying he's not allowed to ask, I'm saying he should refrain himself to ask repeatedly over and over the same question, where we all know how TFP work.

Also, is difficult to tell the tone of someone's statement just from some text on the internet, so I may be wrong about his attitude. However, that's how he comes through to me judging from not one, but many posts he's made in the past.

HammerDano asking for more communication from TFP is not wrong. TFP have always lacked when it comes to communication. I can understand that sometimes they don't have an answer, but maybe they should respond that way instead of not giving any answers at all.
I agree that HammerDano's way of demanding more communication can sometimes be extreme, but at the very least I see that he's passionate about the game so that's one good thing. Of course, treating people with respect always gives a better chance of getting a reply.

Like for example @faatal ; he gives answers on what he thinks as an individual, which doesn't mean that it will happen that way at all and I get that. Maybe some people take it too literally as we know that one individual doesn't decide on when a release will happen.

As always, it's... It's done when it's done! But if we knew a bit more on the progress of things, maybe we wouldn't always be asking the same questions over and over (as I do sometimes... Guilty!)

So when are those Pigs coming? 😁

I just want an idea of what is being pushed off until 3.0 and what we can hopefully expect to see from 2.5 and a probable 2.6
Christmas really is not that far away...maybe 7-8 more weeks, until they are going to be on their earned, xmas vacations.

Probably a great choice...I am pretty sure She is the one who got Madmole to do some posting on the forum again. good call.
 
Jars, temperature, storms, smell, clothing, apiaries, and the zombie models are all being worked on actively right now. Some of that could be pushed to 3.0 due to unforeseen circumstances but the plan is for them to be in 2.x updates.
