Which Trader would survive the longest in an apocalypse?

Thats easy.....Rekt!

1: Low morale standards. Would be able to wheel and deal with all kinds of survivors and bandits.
2: Location location location: The forest biome is the easiest to survive in so that means more people and more deals.
3: The only trader that "nicely" asks to receive a tip and I mean hey who doesn't tip nowadays!

rekt is constantly drunk or hung-over so he'd be out fast

hugh can't really see either close up or far away so he'd be easily ambushed if more than one zombie popped up at once

jen doesnt seem like she is able to fight or defend but we dont know enough about her to get a bead on that since most of her lines are flirting

joel....well he's got connections so maybe in a team? but its hard to read the guy, he acts like a bad joke so like jen i cant get a bead on him

my money is gonna have to be on bob. anyone whose worked on bikes can tell you that you gotta have a lot of strength to lift carry and hold that stuff and to work manual winches and cranks for cars is pretty rough too, he knows his way around some of the more useful equipment for avoiding zombies and noone seems to dislike him so he'd likely work well in a team

No offence, but, i kinda hoped TFP would have started asking us questions about the game. Or be open to discussing things from Pimp Dreams with us in a thread as actual participants. I know some people don't want to hear it, but, they could use some work on their public image. Baring an absolute miracle, I am pretty sure that "we" are only getting 2.0 in 2025. That is the entire length of the road map.The Flu made a pretty good suggestion in a different thread about keeping 3.0 back in a private or very limited experimental branch until it is not only feature complete, but, play tested and adjusted. The Road Map is already broken and not getting updated. why not break it a little more to try and make it a better experience? People cry at every update about game breaks...why not avoid that? People could have a stable version to play on for awhile, seeing a lot of positives...open to hearing why it isn't. But, if TFP don't ever see it...it is another useless conversation by people who really are passionate about the game and it succeeding.

Not sure what that has to do with this thread. But they'll always release a new version and then get feedback and make changes and adjustments based on feedback. They've been doing that all along. This may have been the biggest change based on feedback, but they make changes based on feedback all the time. The first couple of minor versions are usually due to that feedback as well as any bugs that players find. The remaining minor versions are usually bugs players find. It is not possible to find every bug internally. There are so many different setups and ways people play that can make bugs appear that may not appear during their internal testing. Those will need to be fixed and so there will need to be new minor versions to fix as many of them as they can before the next major update.

My choice is Bob. He seems like the one who is more likely capable of taking care of himself against the zombies.

What does it have to do with this thread? this is a member of TFP staff taking a poll, but, they are asking about something that is inconsequential to the game. seems kinda tone deaf after just having a Town Hall.

I know some people don't want to hear it
Your right we don't want to hear it. Let them make the game and stop wanting them to make the game for just you. Every thread people start whining and crying about what they want changed. This thread had 0 to do with everything you starting yapping about. Either have some fun with Pokk's question or start another thread about how A blah blah blah was the best and now the game is in ruin and no one likes it. BTW I believe they have a great public image cause this game is bad ■■■.

Well, in the hopes of our agreement on "some things" making my opinion mean something: let em have fun, mate. While the PR situation is a bit of a mess, something frivolously funny like this doesn't need be turned into a bitter argument.

For the thread; I'll have to go with Hugh. The nutjob with the guns is going to be the last man standing, even if he won't stand for too long after that... Rekt and Jen together might survive for a couple generations; although I might be saying that just for the mental image ... of The Hills Have Eyes ;)

You may find it inconsequential, but they are allowed to focus on more things than just what was discussed in the Town Hall.

Rekt since he would make all the zombies cry because he's so ■■■■ mean. It's why he's not allowed out of his trader complex 😋

Did I say something that was out of line? Tone can be hard to convey. I guess we will have to agree to disagree about this one.

Jen and Retk...the hills have eyes...you dirty ■■■■■■...javex won't scrub THAT image out of my brain. lol

Yes, Just seems like you are beating a dead horse on this.

As far as the question posted, I guess it depends if there are other survivors around. If there are then

Jen would be the first to be killed or enslaved as a certain amount of people will make the worst of an apocalypse.

My vote is on Bob and he seems the most handy and can make stuff.

That isn't a member of staff from what I've seen posted. That is a person in the community who is involved with the creator side of things and was given a lead role in presenting information about creators (they are the one doing the creator spotlights). They have every right to post normal things as well if they choose. But you can't expect them to get into how the game is developed because they don't know any more than we do. Even if they were a member of staff, their role wouldn't have anything to do with development, so why would you be upset they aren't posting about development?

they have a staff designation. I got read the riot act not long ago for not treating every tfp member, as a Capital D, Dev.
so I have been careful in my wording.
to me a staff member is to be treated as a staff member...isn't that what we are supposed to do?

and no one...even staff don't really know the master plan...if I understand what I have been told.
just the brothers

Not everyone with a gold name is staff (paid) AFAIK. And what was said to you related to people involved in developing the game. In any case, even if the person is paid staff and even if people want them treated as a dev, they are still not in any way connected to developing the game. Their role isn't about development, but about community (creator) involvement. You can't expect someone who doesn't do any programming to post about programming. You are upset that they don't talk to us and then when they do, you get upset that it isn't something you are interested in. Anyone in a community related role is going to post things to involve the community. That's what they do. It doesn't have to involve anything about development, especially when they aren't connected to development. No need to derail a fun thread just because you are upset.
