Package Effects

May I suggest that both biome and storm status effects, i.e. those affecting player stats which must be offset via some form of gameplay, be separated from biome progression and "storms" options in settings and implemented as a package of survival effects/offsets that can be turned on and off? As is, players are being asked to turn on and off the features themselves in their entirety.

This would allow both survivalists and more casual players to enjoy the features without necessarily interacting with the status effects and offsets. 'Biome Progression' could then be a separate setting that includes some form of biome gate (or, preferably, not) and loot stage cap.

Options in the menu, with different percentages as the amount of loot, would be the best, and the effects of the biome when you don't have the badge, also for those who play without progression. It would be the best.

There's already an option for loot abundance in settings. Or were you referring to something else.

I'd like to stay on point with survival status effects vs. visuals/audio. Better they be separated in settings as they're developed than the features themselves turned on and off, imo.
