I'm watching a YouTuber one-shotting plague spitter bees using AP ammo

That could come in handy. my baseball bat works fine. Regular ammo and HP ammo takes multiple shots.

I think I was at a point with a Q5 pistol where HP ammo was enough for one-shot. 5/5 skills, not sure how many books. The books give armor penetration iirc; might've been a factor, dunno.

Yes they do at, point blank range.

Stupid bees, hitting them with a sledgehammer should kill them in one shot.

I kill them one shot with a spear. Granted, I always attack everything with power attacks, but even so, if a spear can one shot the bees, a sledgehammer should be able to.

I always miss them with the sledge, but have no issues knocking them down in one shot with a T4 Stone Axe.

Really? Granted, I tried a Q2 stone axe, but it took 4-5 hits before they died. I just assumed it was an intentional thing where you needed a melee weapon and not ranged weapons or tools.

Been taking them out at a distance with Lever Action and now Sniper Rifle. One shot headshot kills.

The bees, not the spitters.

Spitters can be killed easily with any weapon. The bees resist at least ranged attacks, and I though tool attacks as well, though maybe I'm wrong.

Yea but my way of neutralizing the bees is to make sure they never show up.

I'm one shorting them currently. Power attack with my lvl 6 machete.
