I don't know if this will help, But each post points to data sync
or corruption issue. The second constant is after an update. Which is
an interruption in data transport, which can cause corruption.
1 It may be possible that cloud sync in game setting got switched
off. Check the settings menu for 7 days to see if cloud save is on.
Don't assume settings stayed the same as before an update. In the
past few version updates I had to go in and reset some of my preferences
and I'm on a pc, but don't hold that against me.
2 Is a copy of your save in the cloud, if yes then you can delete the
local save, turn off the xbox, and log back into the network and the game
it should redownload the save file to your console. So if there is a difference
in a check bit it should match now.
3 If its on the hd and not in cloud storage, then you can manually copy it to
the cloud. Logoff shut down start up logon try logging into the game. to see if it
fixed the issue.
These are the only possible answers I have at the moment I hope they help.
