(1.4)The Wasteland

Just started playing this mod and am really enjoying it so far. Got what is perhaps a stupid question, though.

I bought the Pipboy mod from Rekt. Have it installed in my gloves, but I cannot figure out how to use the thing. Says to hold MMB, but I have  no idea what that is. How do I use this mod?
Middle Mouse Button. If you are on a controller it won't work, unfortunately. That's something I wanna look at, as well a being able to rebind the key used, but that needs C# to do so it's a bit above me. Haha.

 
i have screenshot of my error that occurred when I tried to unlock t1 quest on t2 and had to go to handler Jen in the Burnt Forest and i cant this post here please help

This was reported quite recently in the Wasteland Discord and will be fixed in the next update.

 
Having another issue. When I go to the trader to get my quest reward, it usually only shows a partial list and won't let me select anything. Usually hitting ESC and talking to the trader again solves this. However, when I can't get my Open Trade Routes reward from Jen at all.

Yeah, this is a known issue. I have it fixed, just waiting for some other fixes in SCore and then I will update the mod. Hopefully soon.

We have a little hot fix patch in The Wasteland Discord for this. It just requires replacing 1 file with another. I can't share it in here because I cannot add this type of file to the chat, and I'm not sharing a link because it takes quite a long time to be approved by the forum Admin. Love the wasteland a bunch! Found it from Neebs gaming playing it on game version 21.2, and played it myself then earlier this year, and now picking it up for 1.1!
I want to ask since i saw on the permissions part of the nexus modpage that it has "Ask for permission" set for modifying game files. Does that apply to editing config files for setting like, higher spifsal points? If so, Is it okay to do such, or is that a no go?

You can do stuff like that for your personal game with no worries. That's more for modifying and trying to distribute it. 

 
Hi, can someone tell me why the mod items in my inventory are invisible? i can only see their name, and the luchbox looks like a "?" did i do something wrong when i installed the mod?

Grab your log and use something like pastebin then link it here. Hard to say otherwise. 

 
I'm pretty sure that I'm doing something wrong. I've repaired a bike & an R75 motorcycle. Once the final step is completed, they disappear. So both times I grabbed one out of creative mode.

Any ideas?

Known issue. Sphereii made some changes in SCore to try and fix the spawn blocks over spawning and it broke some other stuff unintentionally. Will be an update hopefully in a day or two that will fix it.

Not sure about anyone else, but when I accept the first Trade Route quest, and then go to see Jen, completing the quest gets stuck. I can only see one or two reward offers and cannot click on "select". I can escape out of it and still purchase things from her, but I am unable to complete the quest. Any thoughts?

What version of the mod are you on?

 
Update for 1.2 and to fix a few issues. Should be save safe, but making a backup is never a bad idea!

Hi I am having issues with my pip boy. For some reason, the ui doesnt show up when I hold the middle mouse button but when I am holding a weapon where both hands are visible, I can see the inverse of the pip boy ui. The inverse ui also has some weird interactions with certain floor elements like in the screenshot listed. For instance, if floor blood element intersect with the inverse ui, the ui becomes hidden by the floor elements. I just inserted all of the screenshots to a google doc. I've tried playing the game with ultra and high settings to see if it was a settings issue but it hasnt been resolved that way yet.

Alrighty, another update. Sphereii has some good fixes in SCore that should fix a lot of the WL POI reset issues, and some fire spread fixes to hopefully help it run better on servers. Should be save safe, but making a backup is always a good idea. :)

KNOWN ISSUE: Pip Boy still does not function correctly. It shouldn't spam errors now, but still doesn't display correctly.

I also removed the included Worlds folder as there have been too many POI additions/changes to keep these updated properly. Just gen your own. :P
