I like this conversation it's reminiscent of our old discord
chats, feed and feedback. May I have some more please, sir?
My I-O view of the storm scenario is not really much different
than the screamer horde. What do most people do during one of
those? Hide, fight, cuss, ignore, depending on the activities preceding
the onslaught. Rarely does it last just 2 minutes, unless, weeellll;
rarely does it last just 2 minutes. Both will tend to be ill timed,
inconvenient, on it's own time scale, most probably hyper exaggerated
initially, including everything and the kitchen sink, but will be eventually
overcome.
The main difference is feeling the possibility of physically overcoming
a horde.
I'd like it if it is done in the snow, a white out, freezing temperatures
if outside, Dod Snow zombies rising, icy slippery roads, and trudging
through the snow to an appearing disappearing poi. They did it similarly
before maybe it will be done again.
An excerpt quoted from xml.txt Dev words not mine "I'm evil like that."
So I've gotten use to expecting no less. Hopefully they won't add acid and
blood rain.
Hope for the best prep for the worst.
@faatal I just thought of a Cvar to add, you may have already done so, but,
it would help Storm Brewing, WindSpeed debuff, for player speed only the
movement, part not the melee. Temp <> 70 speed debuff, as wind speed,
and temperature would change, player speed would dynamically change to
match. Just need multi-directional wind.
