Exhaustion and Sprain Treatment Options

Correct for just a single point into Physician. However, unless I'm mistaken, 3 points into Physician will instantly cure broken limbs, not just sprains.
Possibly.  I don't ever put points into it and even if I did, it is rare for me to get a broken bone by the time I would even consider putting points into it because I use Parkour and most broken bones are from falling.

Apparently you are not a fan of melee weapons. Most of my fractures are encounters with bears. At least every third one breaks either an arm or a leg.

I only use melee (spear) most of the time.  Bears are pretty easy, but I don't bother with them until I max out my spear.  By then, a few headshots while backing away keeps me from getting hurt much.

I don't get much damage from them, but I get a lot of fractures. Especially when I was running around with brass knuckles. Of course, with a stun gun it's less, but it's still there.

Well, uses brass knuckles (or steel) is going to be hard to avoid debuffs, so that's normal.

Bears definitely are troublesome for most melee, but I find the direwolf/ hellhounds (I’ve heard it called both, idk what it’s actually listed as) breaks my leg even more than bears.

The direwolf probably has increased chances to cause debuffs, similar to the vultures.  But I haven't tried fighting them in melee more than once or twice and I had Q6 armor on, which reduces debuff chances.

I am not saying I never get a broken arm or leg, but once I have a vehicle, it doesn't really bother me.  I'll put on a splint or cast and go on with the game.  It only really bothers me if it happens before I have at least a bicycle.  A broken leg just slows you down way too much, and I don't enjoy running around without a vehicle even without a broken leg.

I always looked at "fatigue" as asymptomatic zombie infection, like getting COVID without visible symptoms. That was cured with zinc and vitamin C and D. So why wouldn't this work for fatigue in 7d2d. It's similar to a low grade flu the way I see it. You just feel tired, but not necessarily "sick"

Apparently it depends on the weapon and the skills with it. With brass knuckles, the target is often stunned after 1-3 hits. And if I manage to finish off the wolf after stunning him, the bear still gets up and manages to deliver 1-2 hits.

This is true. When I used the Stun Baton, neither of them were an issue.

However when I did a play through with machete instead, I had to land a stealth hit for it to be a feasible fight. Otherwise I would inevitably end up either injured or dead.

I didn’t get as far with spear as the others, but it seems that you have to have a good position where they are stuck on something and you can poke them in the nose in the meantime.

Only if you want to almost guarantee not being hit at all.  Bears aren't bad with spear.  If you know your timing and reach, you can hit them and back away and keep hitting them and barely be hit.  Mistime your attack and you will be in trouble, though.  As I said, I haven't fought the dire wolves often in melee.  They are faster than bears, so would be more challenging to avoid getting hit.  They can also jump, letting them get onto things nothing else besides spider zombies can get onto.

I always use power attacks only with spear once I have enough stamina to do so.  Until then, I will still lead off with a power attack.  With power attacks, max spear perks, and Q6 steel spear, you can kill a bear with 3-4 headshots or so (I haven't counted, so maybe I'm off slightly) even when you don't get a crit and take its head off in one hit.

The spear probably has its advantages, but I tried to play with it a long time ago and I really didn't like it then. Previously, the spear didn't have a power strike, but a throw. It's very unpleasant to be left without a weapon after it, especially if the target is not dead. I didn't like it then and I never picked it up again.

Club. Used it often. If you initially pump up strength, then it's a very good weapon without serious pros and cons.

Sledgehammer. Very long delays between hits. Great damage, but if you miss it becomes very painful. I didn't like it.

Brass knuckles. A very interesting weapon. Fast strikes, and the steel knuckles completely replace a knife when cutting up carcasses. With it, you get hit more often than with a club, but the Pain Tolerance skill levels this out. Plus there is beer, which can temporarily strengthen you. In my opinion, this is the best weapon.

Stun Baton. Not a bad weapon, you can hold back a crowd with it, especially when the knockback is triggered. Overall, it's a good thing, but sometimes zombies fly off unsuccessfully, sometimes behind textures. Upgrading medicine improves it quite a bit (10% instant death), but you still have to hit a lot.

Knives. I haven't tried them, so I won't say anything.

Each weapon is good in its own way. And with brass knuckles, bears were scarier to me than wolves. Wolves rarely broke anything, and they are stunned the same way as bears, but they have less health.

Spears are greatly improved since the throw mechanic was replaced by a power attack.  I'd suggest trying them again just to see how they are.  You might like them.

Wolves aren't a problem at all.  The new dire wolves, on the other hand, can be painful when using only melee.  They have a lot of health and do some good damage to you when they hit you.
