You'd have a better chance with the neighborhood girls then you would trying to get with a tv star. With that said, how does this statement relate to my original comment to you? I'm not seeing the connection. *shrugs*this is not working that why - you don't have to spend night with every girl in you neiborhound to trying spend night with tv star right ?

The devs spent days watching Twitch and Youtube and then spent weeks coming up with this fix to ruin the newest base strategies. It's all they do, you know...
The twitch integration feature is the forerunner of the random event system-- meaning that the jury is still out. It isn't cancelled per se but it will come down to time and resources if they decide to go forward with fully developing the twitch integration into a proper random event manager. Think of it like Secrets of Dumbledore...they could just call that movie a wrap for the series or they could go on to make two more depending on how it does.

That joke passed through at top speed because that's a very good way to balance a game and to find edge cases well into the beta phase. It might still pass as a snarky comment within the alpha cycle though, as it is quite inefficient to waste resources on that right now.
Using the community to test in depth is just a prelude to a significant twitch/youtube/whatever search and analysis. It is recommended for a videogame studio to do that when in the final polish phase.

@Blake_ and @Jost Amman inspired me to create this comment - well i will write some words in polish so if you don't know them just check in google.
What if TFP polished 7dtd
You came from home after work. Normal boring day. You check steam - 50 gb of update for 7dtd. Well strange but you check patch not but there so big number of typos so you think that person who wrote this was drunk as hell - something about Poland, vodka etc. Well patch with diffrent languages shoudn't be so big but maybe this is some bigger update.
You create new world - but instead a normal "duke bla bla bla " you have note about some party with brother in law. So you are checking your neiborhood. This isn't not Usa anymore... you are in Poland. You feel like character from creepypasta wroten by emo teenager but whatever. This city is.... strange - two churchers , fire station , cementery , ten departaments ( with some strange names like wójt or "siedziba ds. wypadków w łodzi wydział nowa wieś w płocku") barber and few houses. Good news? everyhouse looks like stronghold- some of them with metal fences some of them with conctrete fence with barber wire so you have flashback from WW1 but you born many years after this war). Bad news? try to loot this LoL. So you decided to check church - and you find zombie that looks like slav big mamma but..behave like wight ( this is day 1). You manage to run away to shop. good new? number of vodka and beer is so big that you can make more molotov that you have slots in eq ( but you can stack 10 molotov in slot). bad news? every tool (this is normal, clothes (this is strange) are almost broken but you can find 10 basketbats but any balls. Only good quality item were rubbish farmer shoes, dres'pants ( and describtion that dres mean someone like thug) and fisherman vest ( bye bye packing mule). So you started looting small houses and you have few thoughts - number of food in jar is so so big that there is is no chance to die from hunger, you can find only good old tools or decying new tools and every house is 1 minute to loot. You decided to check flat - similiar thing but walls have so big number of HP that you can't even blow up it... but you have even more bottles. Everything was pretty fine until you found "parking" with.... sheet metal garages.... tons of them... Do you know SCP infinty Ikea? yep this same thing but this is places with metal garage. First time you think that is crossover with Backrooms but after kill few teenagers zombie ( well you don't feel even ashamed because you found only 1 book and 20 pack of ciggarets after looting backpack near this zombie pack) . but you manage to find a way outside and you found... cementary. You started thinking that Bram Stoker was wrong - vampires lives in poland. Why? because every tombstone is big stone block... so there is no zombie on cementary but cementary is big... at least 2km^2. After few hours of play ( and call to your psychiatrist) you found a traders post. Even with few NPC but this hurt your mind... do you remember zombie guys from RE4... well adults looks this same but teenagers looks like kids from brasil fanafelas - barefoot ( well you figured out that clothes from polish shops rot too fast well... better to go barefoot that one shoe right? ) and sport clothes playing cards and sing worst rap you every hear ( you didn't even shocked why they add kids- this make this game even more deppresing). You decided to talk with trader - fat guy with golden rings and white suit. What he is selling? 100 acid, 10 vodka and even the worst basketball need to do at least 4 quest to buy it. sigh... so you decided to do... something
30 day: good news? you can find melee weapon everywhere - sword, machetes basketball just everything, Bad news? find gun is almost impossible . More ? good news? no vultures bad news? you have grandma wight, dres wight, weeding wight (drunk one - they are easy to kill because they most of the time can't even stand still) , even something that looks liks witch from l4d2 - big pink claws pink dress and so bad makeup but this is crawler zombie because she had so long heels that she can't walk. cars use propan, your clothes looks something stolen from hobo, you don't have to worry about blood moon horde- every block of flat can survive every horde when you will do nothing and under flat you can make a see of baber wire. You decided to turn off 7dtd and go to sleep, Tomorrow you are going psychiatric hospital - you can't belive what happend... Poland cannot be real... so... 2 there is two solutions - you are crazy like hatter or SCP is realy thing. Anyway - patchnote have even more mistakes....

Because the TRUE April fools joke was to post something on the day that was really truly real and have people think it was just a joke. And you fell for it hook line and sinker.
There is nothing in the gallery that isn’t in the game which goes for the police car as well. It’s in there too but it isn’t driveable.
Madmole is busy working on one of the next big A21 reveals (may God have mercy on our souls)…
Just to temper expectations, I'd imagine that Sharp Sticks thing could just be a book cover on a bookshelf rather than anything like a book series that effects gameplay etc

Erm, yeah - except I didn't fall for anything and I am genuinely confused about the post...
So I have no idea what you're laughing at. Also, I believe my previous post; and again, I am happy to be wrong, stated the conditional 'if' and asking if it was a joke because of the late posting.
That's to be indifferent to whether its a joke or not, thus not invested in either it is or it isn't, thus not in a position to have fallen for anything.
I do have a followup question for the devs though, and anyone may answer - since the models are as of yet; and perhaps indefinitely non-driveable (outside modding), how difficult or easy would it be for you guys to make them drivable vanilla?
