War3zuk FarmLife v3 Enhanced Alpha 20.4 B42 Stable

Any modlet or Mod overhaul that adds 'custom assets'  into the game needs to be on both Client and Server for Multiplayer games .

A Lot of modders now are getting better at stating wether thier work is required on both or is just a server side only.

yeah i need a modlet like this for server side only i dont want to have my players have to download mods to play the game

Cos the models are all broken & im working my way through removing all errors before rebuilding the Mod.. The code for the Trees & Plants is more complex than normal given they spawn at world gen & so needed to be fixed along with plants cos the player plants those & any errors in that would cause alot of issues given its a farming mod..

Models were causing the chunk to crash during testing so they have all been removed to weed out issues...

ah i see, sad deal. i hadnt noticed anything on my end but im oblivious to things i suppose. hope to see them return!, thanks for your response and hard work. much appreciated and loved.

 
The main issue we noticed was an odd one, Once certain things were planted or certain trees cut down ALL vanilla bushes & trees would disappear from the chunk leaving completely flat land.. That was one of the issues I found during testing.. They all seem to be fixed now so ive managed to weed through the main issues, The Mod as is right now loads & plays fine along with all benches & such properly working.. Unless myself or my wife whos helping me test finds something else it will just be balancing things done now..

Once balancing is done Then it will be stripping of blocks / recipes  addons & such so its all neat & runs as it should..

does this mean that all the plant and tree graphics will be back at some point? cause man that was my main attraction lol

 
amazing, really something my friend and i were missing. Is there a wiki for all the stuff? we're pretty overwhelmed with all the new stuff and mechanics? for example how do we get more seeds? is it just through looting? 

 
No wiki that I know of no, As for the 2 Unity models that were broken that was the Farmlifetrees & Farmlifeplants models which ive had to get rid of, At some point I hope to be able to fix those but thats not a defo thing.. Now if the original mod author sent me the exported packages for the trees & plants then yeah id have them back in within the day lol..

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or it's a bug. Milk won't craft. It's asking for a cooking pot in the gas oven but there is not a spot for one to be put on the gas oven.

Im working my way threw the Recipes, Ive fixed 78 so far lol.. Im sure ill find more in the coming days & weeks.. Just mention it if you find anything not right..

 
Gas CookTop has been removed in the update so if you have one & dont wish to restart, empty its tools & destroy the model first before updating

1) Have this mod Sakura Trees ?

2) Can we use it on a old save or we have to new game ?

3) Is it compatible with others mods like Valmod / Khayne etc. ?

New game is required as trees are planted at RWG.. Should work ok with other overhauls but may clash with major food mods..

Those were removed 3 patches ago ? Patch is now 1.10 Gonna say its your install or continued an old game, From the 2nd to last patch a new game was needed..If you play updated from that point @%$# will break cos the mod has changed alot..

FOR ANYONE USING SMX HUD/UI

I have found a way to make Farm Life v3 work with SMX. The only downside is that you will need to get rid of the SMX Ui Replacer Mod (Including the backpack Mod that goes with SMX). You can keep the SMX Core Mod, HUD and Menu, just delete anything that has to do with the Ui.

You will also need to remove any other mods that requires SMX Ui and download the vanilla folders instead.
For example; I have this mod that adds a bunch of weapons and you need a modded workbench to craft the ammo, and the workbench Ui uses SMX. They have an SMX friendly Ui mod folder, and one for vanilla. You need to replace it with the vanilla Ui folder instead. Because if you don't, the moment you try to open the modded workbench, it will mess up your Ui and you wont be able to open any other workbenches until you remove those SMX Ui friendly folders for those mods.

Once you've removed ANY SMX Ui related mods, you can go ahead and check into the 'War3zuk FarmLife v3 Enhanced' folder then follow this path [ Config > XUi > xui.xml ] once you're in that xml file, delete the WAR off of the WARwindowCraftingQueue for all stations, and it will fix all the issues of a 'Missing Crafting Queue'.

Just remove the 'WAR' in every single line and everything should work as normal.

PS.

Some crafting recipes will show ''unit_iron 0/10'' or ''unit_brass  0/10'' even tho you have X amount of Iron, Brass or Clay melted into the forge. Do not worry, you will still be able to craft it, its just a minor visual bug. (The shears does that)

I've tried to figure out how to make it work with SMX for a few hours now. And I'm glad it wasn't that hard to do. The only sad part is getting rid of the Ui menu, but its not much of a big deal. Enjoy playing Farm Life with SMX! :))))))
