It is possible to add your own. It's something that's been on the back burner for a while. Maybe once I get everything out and smoothed over I'll start looking at them.

Odd, I never get that when testing.

Any other mods? Is this a new world/save? Or carried over from EXP or sometime when maybe still using the A18 mods?

Maybe just for a test, gen a new world and see if it still does it?

 
Hey @bdubyah, this is probably unrelated to your mod, because I've seen similar graphical bugs in different POIs as well, but do you have any idea what could be wrong here? I'm not too experienced with POIs.

This is a screenshot from Nuka Factory that was added automatically by the in-game random world generator when it generated the map for me. As I said, I've seen similar graphical issues in a different POI that I added simply through Mods folder, the other one was Magister's Mansion. The only thing I could think of as a possible cause is that I missed to move the Prefabs directory to the game's own Data/Prefabs directory, but then again I was under impression that we don't need to do that in Alpha 19 anymore, so I'm clueless. :classic_unsure:

 
Yeah I can't figure it out either. A19 and I've tried 3 RWG plus standard Navezgane, so it's not the map. Only have 2 mods which also have ui_display.xml and they load fine. Removing them and all other mods has no effect, the error still occurs. This is also on a fresh install of the game, validated files and deleted saves folder. I might mess with it a bit, see if I can accidently fix it cos I don't know what I'm doing lol, but tis fun to try.

I believe that is a bug in the game where distant LOD's are rendering within the prefabs. I get that a lot and relogging seems to fix it.

Thanks, but I doubt "relogging" will help as this is what I encountered shortly after loading into the world. I haven't seen any of this before in Alpha 18. Sure, we had to manually copy all prefabs into game's own prefabs directory, but at least in game it worked as expected. In the meantime I had to close the game, so I will try again and see if it really fixes the problem.

This graphics issue has been occurring for a while, can't say specifically which alpha, and sometimes occurs in a totally vanilla game. The only known fixes are to log out and back into the game or an F1 keyboard command that I can't remember . . . POI, maybe. The second solution also turns off distant poi's.

Looked it up, the command is "pois"

Yeah, that's a vanilla issue that seems A19 made worse. 

And Finch, if you figure it out let me know what it was just so I'll know. I'll double check everything when I get home tonight to make sure I can't repro it myself. 

 
I haven't either. Thought I haven't really played enough to see it anyway. I just know between the modding discord amd threads here, it seems like it got worse. 

I never noticed it in A18 either.

@bdubyah, which skills govern the quality of individual weapons that we craft? For example, I can't figure out how to improve quality of crafted pipe shotgun. I thought it would be boosted by Boomstick skill like vanilla shotguns, but it doesn't work.

 
Pipe weapons will always be level 1. They are meant to be primitive weapons.

They are now under Gunslinger, Deadeye, and Boomstick.

I almost kind of want to not tell you the problem and see if you can figure it out...Lol.

Here's a hint...you're running the collection mod which contains all of the vehicles...and then also trying to run all the separate modlets.....

haha yes, it was strange to me that now the file was like this and not only the Bdubs Vehicles folder
