This one held up on 120 minute day, day 21 horde where I was level 300 and 477 gamestage. (this test was performed on a test save I have to test ideas). The base is made with reinforced concrete. All the wires down from underneath. 1/4 blocks in the 4 lanes to allow looting from underneath for bags. There's 7-8 electric fence wires in each lane. You could also do bottom row electric, top row darts if you wish...

Hey guys, I just wanted to show off that I found my other half in this strange world. At the beginning she didn't really like me, she started beating me.. But after 10 days she came back to my house and started fighting zombies for me. She doesn't scream anymore when she sees me and she seems to really like me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Just admiring the desert sunset lighting in the city in Navezgane in A17, and thought I'd share. Let's see your favorite scenery/lighting/graphical composition pics of the new version! :smile-new: (pro-tip that I just learned... press F7 before taking the shot to get rid of the HUD)

So I made a small 12x14 size base that can survive literally hundreds of Zombies, while easy to maintain and repair. Every single block of the "kill corridor" is two kinds of lethal, and zombies make a bee-line directly through the center of it because there's a tempting set of stairs at the end. Top level has "repair ports" that look down on the blades, and you can reach all the blades from up there to repair them without risking yourself. Electric fences are completely protected and won't be destroyed. I used steel for demonstration purposes, but 90% of this base could be made from concrete and it'd be just fine, front and kill corridor idealy should be steel though. Tried to upload the images here, but kept failing. No idea why...

Just showing that its entirely possible to survive 7th day horde on the first 7th day even without a forge and with limited ammo. Difficulty is set to standard. [edit] Its set to warrior, 8 enemies/horde. I'm considering doing an Insane difficulty 7th day horde also no base, other suggestions would be neat if anyone has any input.
