I recently switched to PC, but I had a lot of work on one of my console saves. This is a massive fortress I was building on xbox. It is on an Open Server multiplayer survival map, on survivalist difficulty. Been playing the game for years but got bored with the older Alpha Builds. Returned to the game recently and wanted a nice world seed where I could build a base in a great location so I wouldn't have to travel all over the map to find things to do. For a few hours, I played with random world seed names, just entering in random words until I found something I liked, some of them were quite hilarious names as well! What I settled on is shown in the pictures below that show you what I typed in and the resulting world name as well as the preview of the map. As you can see, there are several reasons why playing this map will be quite enjoyable. I always select the smaller 4K x 4K size for solo maps, because the larger 8K x 8K maps are...

The base is a work in progress, just staying alive this long was extremely difficult to do... Spent a lot of time dying and learning lol, but it's coming along now. No save scumming obviously, what would be the point otherwise. Doesn't mean anything if you skimp out on the reality of it \m/ Gonna surround the towers with those iron bar walkways, fill the bottom with traps, create a way for me to get up there that the zombies can't use... But I'm still stumped on that one. Maybe I'll just nerdpole it really, but I've got 3 stacks of pipe bombs and a stack of molotovs for it. Looks like I'm freediving. @%$#. 💦 Seriously, they need to increase swim speed or at least let us sprint upwards underwater. That supply drop was 16m under the surface. I had 2 seconds left when I got back up and that isn't even the deepest lake in Navezgane... 😠

Hey everyone, I decided to try something new with 7 days today. I modified my config files to make all other entities 1-hit blocks, and multiplied zombie spawning by 6. The playthrough is played on Warrior difficulty, and of course, given the name, the zombies also Run during the day, with nightmare speed 32 zombie hordes.  World Gen Seed 8k: Cant Stop I'm already close to death, as I think I made this a bit too hard, but if anyone was interested in the concept, I welcome you to try it and see how long you can survive.  I don't know how to mod yet, so sorry in advance if you're interested...😅 Day 1 was a little slow to start, cause of my intense fear of leaving the spawn protection zone... 😱 Video here:

Further proof that you don't need to go crazy with your bases... I built this charming little home atop a Piggy Bank and it served me well for 80+ days! After gutting the inside of the bank and installing SMG turrets, I made a nice two-story home on the roof featuring a nice garden and rooftop patio! I also turned the drive-through teller area into a ramp for my 4x4 jeep. Solid platforms are the real bread-and-butter if you want to survive the apocalypse, so why build one yourself? Save yourself the concrete.
