zztong submitted a new resource:

ZZTong-Prefabs (V1.4) - Provides a large collection of "meat and potatoes" custom POIs.

This mod contains my custom prefabs. It depends only on the vanilla game and introduces no other requirements or dependencies.

My goal is to provide semi-plain "meat and potatoes" POIs of an acceptable quality and in enough quantity to fill gaps in world generation and make a meaningful dent in player demands for variety. I hope you'll find these to be good enough to help round out the nooks and crannies of your generated worlds.

The modlet is configured to plug into the Vanilla game and...

There will be a 2.0 version of this modlet. I won't get 2.0 until the experimental release is available, so any compatibility changes cannot happen until then. At the time of this message, I have 30 new POIs and 1 new Tile coming in the new release.

Also included is integration support for The Decent modlet. This is an OPTIONAL integration, meaning if you don't have The Descent installed everything still works. But, if you are using The Descent, then some POIs will integrate with the cave system. (Yes, this all assumes 2.0 doesn't make that integration incompatible. Yes, I assume The Decent will need time to catch up to 2.0 as well.)

I'm starting work on the 2.0 version. You might find the 1.4 version works, but there will be quirks. My suggestion is to wait for my 2.0 release. If you want the blow-by-blow details, check in on the #zztong-prefabs channel on GuppyCur's Discord channel.

Just a note. Although I'm sure this will get fixed by the next update, it seems RWG will fail if using custom POI (any POI) that are larger than 122x122. Just something to watch for to see if they get that fixed as you make your update to your mod. It only affects making a map with RWG. You can play a map with larger POI without a problem.

150x150's are working. I heard above 100x100 in the Wilderness can encounter an error, but I'm not sure anyone's got a handle on it. I bumped one POI up from 148x148 to 150x150 and it works.

Hm.. Interesting. There was a bug report showing that and the code looks like it would throw an error for being negative if it's too large. I haven't tested RWG in 2.0 yet, though.

zztong updated ZZTong-Prefabs (V2.0) with a new update entry:

V2.0-ZZ027 -- Support for V2.0

Version V2.0-ZZ027 was made during the V2.0 Experimental Release period. My hope is that it will work after the experimental release period, but we'll see how things play out. Please report bugs.

This release adds 30 more POIs and 1 more Tile, brining the total to 230 POIs and 51 Tiles. There are a couple of new biome decorations too. Among the new POIs is a new Tier 5 and a Tier 4.

Signaling for the future...

Assuming I don't have to make a release to fix some high priority bug or to support a non-experimental version of 2.0, my next release will likely focus on updates to older POIs, deploying new 2.0 blocks into POIs, and other maintenance work based on where RWG goes.

New 2.0 blocks, eh? Anything interesting? I don't do the experimental releases, so I'm just curious...

New deco blocks are always a good thing!

Anyway, I'm waiting for v2.0 to move to the main branch before I update. But I'm definitely looking forward to your new POIs and tile!

@zztong - The download link is goosed. It keeps getting flagged as a suspicious link, and is blocked. You may wanna upload it elsewhere.

The download link here on these forums? Huh. I see what you mean. That's odd.

It is also available on Nexus Mods...

It's the exact same file in (or at least I uploaded the same file to) both locations.

It seems to be working now. I didn't change anything. I don't think you're nuts as Chrome told me the same thing right after you mentioned it. I have no idea what changed.

@zztong Yeah man, that is weird. I checked again and it's working without issue for me too now :/

TBW, every time I download this pack, I go through a put every POI, Part etc into it's own folder. I find it easier to see what's available this way. Figured you might want a copy so you can maintain your POIs more easily in future. I've uploaded it for this purpose, so I'll send you the link in a PM

I'm not sure what you mean. POIs are in their own folder, Parts are in their own folder. That's the really easy way for me to maintain them. The Prefab Editor understands that structure as it mimic's the game.
