PC Zed get back up immediately after being knocked down

Pretty sure they're supposed to stay on the ground for a second or two after you've knocked them on their butts.

I think this is as intended or very close to it.

MM commented on it during his play through vid.

Maybe they've adjusted it slightly for this build?

Anyway, I guess it's what we have to work with.

I kinda like it tbh. No more guessing.

Was never a guessing issue for me, is this to remove the ability to capitalize on a quick head shot upon knocking down a zed?

 
you dont get the 3x bonus when they are down in a17, so its a moot point
And I prefer them getting up faster so I can knock em in the head again faster.

Don't have to wonder if they're dead or not either. Gets up if it's not, doesn't if it is.

 
If you want to increase the time they are down you can edit the entityclasses.xml. You want to change the KnockdownProneStunDuration value for the zombies.

Dont need, just thought the immediate bounce back was rather stupid, also double tap is a thing.

 
It was changed because MM couldn't suss out who was dead and who wasn't. See also the 'q' key change.
