Youtube Integration

Not sure if this has been asked for in the past or not. But being since there's Twitch integration with the voting and what not, is there any way to add a feature like that for those who only have a youtube following and not a twitch following?

Is that realy worth the effort? To me it seems YouTube is a dying platform, killing itself with the overly agressive ad intrusions and war on optimizers/adblockers.

And you're basing that simply on their stance on ad blockers? You have the same exact issue on Twitch and they are constantly changing their code to get around ad blockers. Also, some of 7DTD biggest content creators are on Youtube. It's far from dying.

I'm not comparing it with twitch. Basing it my own experiences and conversations with some creators over the last few years. YT is only good for big channels or for people doing it just for fun. It is not the open platform anymore that it used to be, it is for sure not dead yet but slowly sliding down the hill. Any platform trying to annoy people into subscriptions will eventualy die.

And as far as Twitch concerns: I don't know and I don't care.

Fair enough, but the OP specifically was asking for integration like Twitch, so the comparison is valid. All I was stating is that Youtube is in the EXACT same boat as Twitch. Both have annoying ads and both push for subscriptions in order to avoid said ads. There's a huge audience built on Youtube and integration would only make that stronger. Seems like it would be a win for TFP.

From what I can find, Google/YouTube has no API integration for this like Twitch does. They only offer some 3rd-party services to create similar features in your live streams.

Twitch has the API integration already built, and TFP is leaning on that.  I don't see TFP building an API for YouTube from scratch, and it wouldn't make sense for them to integrate the 3rd-party tools already available to be used by the streamers.
