You're halfway looting a POI and a storm occurs. Would you rather be short on ammo or food?

The storm isn't going to bother you while you're in the poi. You looted all the food you're going to loot so you're probably not going to find anymore.

Would you rather be for short of food or short of ammo?
 
Depends. If the POI has no zombies than I can do without ammo, especially if I have a melee weapon on me. But if the POI is still infested than I would rather take the food loss.
 
In practice, neither would bother you much.. but it also depends on "how short".
Actual 0 food in me, taking health damage from it, can't really fight - but the ammo will cover for that.
Actual 0 ammo, won't want to risk pulling new groups without prep, but prep is always possible in a standard POI.

Neither alone is an issue; but I can imagine dying more easily to lack of ammo than lack of food in the actual game. And the lack would of course be caused by me just dumping all my ammo in a box somewhere :P
 
One of the reasons I always have a melee weapon on my bar and stones, wood and feathers from gathering eggs. I'm almost never out of stone arrows if I need ammo.
 
Since I rarely use a ranged weapon, I don't need ammo. Yet being out of food isn't a big deal either. Besides, unless the POI is already looted, you're likely to find both.
 
Neither would happen. Always got a stack of food, drinks and arrows on me when going out. Stone spear and wooden bow are easy to maintain so I'm not worried about riding out a storm inside a POI.
 
Storms aren´t long enough that i would be bothered about that when i am only done halfway trough the POI. IF you are short on ammo and food when halfway trough you would be in trouble anyways no matter if there is a storm or not.
