PC Your views on the new dungeon system - new POIS vs old POIS

i love the new pois....until i do 3 of them in a game. Then i hate them. They are unnatural, illogical (remember: those are houses of the people, not parkour places), i hate the "zombie inside the cupboard" system. its scary, if that happens 2 times in a movie. Its not scary if that happens in almost all cupboards. Then its more of a wtf moment, when you think: Why did people story bodies/zombies in their closets? Whats wrong with those people/the devs of this game? I have never, ever stored a body in a closet, not even a dead cat, and i can say: i never will. Bodies should be buried, not stored in closets.

The old pois felt so much more natural like left over houses. The new ones are artificially constructed parkour courses. Its especially bad in diersville on the nevezgane map, where EVERY house seems to be one of those new pois. Makes me quite not play the game anymore.

As a looter, primarily, I have a lot less stuff to loot now. It's all unlocked by perks instead of finding stuff. Therefore, the new PoI's have been my primary source of entertainment, and I think they are brilliantly designed.

I love the stories hidden in each poi, they are so much more exciting to explore. last night we went through the farmhouse with the big cage in the back. i won't say more because i don't want to spoil. the attention to detail was amazing and it took myself and a friend over a day to get through it. this is so much better than the repetitive pois where you just empty the cabinets and move on.

I'm really enjoying the dungeons. I won't even complain about the repetitive nature of them, instead I'll appeal to making them rare gems.

I actually really like the general concept behind the dungeons. I imagine that these were places where survivors held out until the bitter end
From a logical point of view, this is exactly why we need to mix in a lot more of the old style houses. If every single house/cabin/POI was a fortress, how did an initial outbreak happen? Every household being the survive against all odds type means no one was turned initially. More, vacant, houses also solves for, why are there 30 people per dungeon? With the empty style older buildings as filler it makes more thematic sense, accounts for a townsize of greater than 3 - 16 buildings, and, most importantly, gives early game players a chance to cut their teeth and late game players a chance to break down all the brass fixtures.

Everyone else used to do that as well, or am I the only one? It's much more of a chore in the dungeon style.
