PC You come across a crack a book right next door to a Savage country. Which store do you loot first?

I had already looted the cracker book and didn't notice at the time that a Savage country was next door to it. This may have worked out my benefit because when I got a mission from Jen to clear the crack a book, my game stage was further along when I noticed the Savage country. 

I did not have nearly enough sewing kits or legendary parts. 

I looted the Savage country first and came away with enough legendary parts. I don't think I'll ever have enough sewing kits or duct tape. But now I have enough armor crafting kits to make my next level of armor and enough legendary parts to make my tier 6 armor. I have 74 duct tape and and that's not enough. I'm constantly harvesting cloth and murky water. I'm about to build my second dew collector and I hope two will be enough for my gameplay.

Well, I almost never go to Savage Country, so I'd do Crack-A-Book.  :)

I find so many resources that by the time I can make Q6 armor, I have everything I need.  But I also don't make lower level armor after making Q3-4 Primitive in the first couple of days and just use whatever I find, so I haven't wasted a ton of resources on low level stuff.

I don't bother making primitive order past the first set that you do when you start. And I also wear everything I can find until I can make my first set of assassins armor and then I upgrade it as soon as I can. I have enough armor crafting kits until I get to tier 4 and then I might run into shortages. So far I've always had enough but occasionally I've used them all.

Because I don't make armor until Q6 (I really don't see any need for doing so), I upgrade the primitive armor to Q3-4 just because it is extremely cheap to do so until I replace it with whatever I find.  I obviously don't try to play efficiently and just enjoy the game.  I know I could craft stuff to get better bonuses for stuff like mining or farming and those can be useful in the early game, but it just really doesn't matter to me.  :)

As the Crack a Book are relatively compact, I loot them first. Savage Country POIs take more time to loot.

 
first couple days - savage country for the clothes, armor, and levels.. then over to the bookstore..

otherwise bookstore and oh, there was a savage country there? huh.
