XBOX XBOX version 2.4 update ?

When will xbox version update to 2.4 ? Cant crossplay with PS5 which is at 2.4 . Im guessing this is because the versions are not same.
 
This is a normal thing with Microsoft. Just have to wait for them. Microsoft gets the new version the same time as everyone else, but they can take longer to release it. Sometimes days, and even over a week at least one time. Nothing anyone can do except wait for them to release it, unfortunately.
 
Wow, thats wild they dont get everything approved on all platforms then release it out to everyone to DL. I guess it only affects the cross platform people though. Is there anyplace you can check to see when it gets approved or just on the console ? Thanks for the info

The question is if there is an alternative? TFP just sends their game to the platforms for approvement and then has to wait, it is Sony and MS who eventually **release** the game on the platforms, likely with no input from TFP (otherwise timing the releases would be so easy it would be surely happening already)
TFP could send it earlier to Microsoft but then it could happen that MS releases early and Sony is late. Or Sony and Microsoft could talk to each other, but at least this doesn't seem to happen for such a small game (yet). No idea if TFP or their console publisher company ever asked if that was possible.

Just watch for a download, or the games version number to change. Start the game and you should see the version in the main menue on the upper right (if it is anything like PC).
 
I updated to 2.4 stable and now I crash after I hit the spawn button. I can hear the fire crackling but it never loads in. I don't know how to report the issue because it's asking me to post links. I don't know how to do that from my xbox. Can someone point me in the right direction? I love this game so much.
 
We have a section "game support" in the forum. You probably will get more responses if you start a new(!!) thread there and post as much information as possible. For example: What was the version of the game when you created that savegame?

Thank you. I was able to start a new game. Water under the bridge with all the other times that my save has been corrupted.
