XBOX Xbox Series X: Optimization

Playing on an Xbox X with my two friends so 3 of us total. In a random gen world. What am I able to change to help us avoid all of this lag. It gets really bad on hoarde night and POIs 3 and above. Sometimes even so bad that my friends will get kicked from the world and forced to rejoin. I know the performance setting on Xbox but other than that what are my options ? We did make the world the biggest possible and would prefer not to restart just to change that but I am open for any suggestions as this lag has become unbearable as we progressed deeper into this world.

What I can think of, for the horde base:
Remove any trees, bushes and farm plots around your horde base.

If there are POIs near you, built lots of explosives and destroy them completely (by destroying every block on ground level, let it collapse and remove the rubble).

Do not use the crafting base as horde base nor have it near your horde base

Use no or very few moving, flashing or shooting traps like blade traps, electric fences and turrets.

Remove any lights, in or near your horde base. Use night vision googles if night seems to dark without lights.

Really experimental: If a town or forest is in sight distance it might have a positive effect if you build a really big wall that blocks view of the town or forest. Can be a wood wall, so doesn't really cost that much.

Not sure about the actual impact of those remedies (except removal of trees, you will notice an effect if you have many of them around). If you find out please post here. Likely the effects will be minor unless you actually planted a forest or made your horde base light up like a christmas tree at the moment
 
That seems like a lot of work just to be able to play without lag. I’m giving up and uninstalling this pos game. Never buying anything from fun pimps nor recommending it to friends.

On PS5: I've completely destroyed Shotgun Messiah Factory and that hardly seems to impact the performance in the area. In fact, every time I approach the area the POI is first rendered completely and then graduatly dissapears if I get closer. Lag and delays are significant, game just needs a lot of optimisation.

Oh right, that idea can't work, so the only remedy is not to have your horde base near big POIs.
 
I think some people don't understand that sometimes it's not the game at fault but the poor hardware specs.

I've had the Xbox Dashboard/Home Screen struggle to load during startup. The game plays poorly on some days and surprisingly well on others.
