Wrong VPN Ban ?

Hello,

First, thanks for the amazing game, and sorry if i struggle to make my point clear enough, English not being my first language.

I've been playing 7D online for years without having any issue. But since 1.0, I got banned from joining/hosting servers for using a VPN apparently.

I've not even using a VPN. The thing is, my computer isn't powerful enough anymore to play the game on its own, so i have to use cloud gaming apps (Shadow Gaming, Nvidia...) to play the game with good performance. Is that considered being a VPN? It didn't seem to matter before 1.0, as i could play online without any issue with those apps.

Is there a way to fix this and still play 7D online with my apps and/or to remove the ban? It kind of sucks as it's the only way for me to play the game now.

Thanks in advance for your help

This is done by a 3rd-party server manager. Along with the usual country bans, some will add an additional filter to auto-ban on VPN IP ranges.

Basically, what is happening is that your IP address is in the same range as one that a VPN service uses.

Your only workaround is to speak with the server owner and have them whitelist you, or find a server that isn't using as many tools to keep out malicious actors.

Hello,

First of all, thank you for an amazing game, and sorry if it's difficult for me to make my point clear enough since English is not my first language.

I've been playing 7D online for years without any problems. But as of version 1.0 I was banned from joining and hosting servers for using a VPN apparently.

I don't even use a VPN. After the break I decided to just come in and play, and here’s the situation. I am in Ukraine and there is no point in using VPN.

Is there a way to fix this and continue playing 7D online with and/or remove the ban?

Thanks in advance for your help

As written in the addendum to the ban. I can confirm my IP and location. although I guess why is the ban. I moved to another place of residence and here is a different provider, and bought myself a new PC.

Seems like spam.  This exact message was posted by another username already... And answered.

I don't argue that it happened. what I wrote looked terrible. but that person who came wrote more accessiblely. I borrowed it from him.

The initial part is borrowed, but the main part is redone

Ok, and did you read the answer?  It would be the same answer for you.  TFP isn't running the servers, so you have to contact them or use a different server.
