This is a custom 8k world I created using Unity/Gaia as well as NitroGen to place roads/poi's. I've manually added two POI's (Modern Art Gallery by Topminder and Pille and Quiet Pines by Hernanxx).

To install, you simply unzip the file into your game folder. The result should create:

/data/worlds/guppysisland

/data/prefabs/ ...the two prefabs

To use, simply start the game, choose Guppys Island and give it a unique game name, and voila.

...this is more or less a functional Proof of Concept, more to come for sure... I'm thinking quest driven worlds with custom poi's you have to go to, custom blocks, custom everything. =)

...yeh so I'm thinking your ship will be out in the middle of the sea somewhere, and I'll attach a quest to it. =)

I've much larger ideas for the world, including quests, items, etc, and have XML code that should work for Scuba Gear, and Ragsy is > < close to having boats working well enough for release, so... should be a fun long term project. I'll keep the world as a separate download, but then build a mod around the world.

Added the ship to the world; it's pretty far off, but if you're standing at the right spot on the right coast, you can see it...

...it's definitely a poi worth checking out (thanks to Pille for allowing its use!).

Eventually I'll have this as a full mod and you can just take a boat out to it, as in the above pic. =)

 
Nice Vid Guppy. However, the ship is not supposed to have water in it. ;)

 
Yeh it's at the right height too, so I'm not sure what's up. I'll probably leave it that way, unless the trader is down there...

I have sharks in the works and I'm thinking about using Baby Shark for the noises... does that count?

 
Most of the work was learning HOW to make it, but now that I know how, I'd say it takes about 30 minutes to generate it?

would it be hard to add add custom features to the map? you know like mineshafts or bridges.
