PC wondering about the afterlife as I was looting coffins

The ancient Egyptians would put food and tools, things that they would need in the next world. In some cultures great warlords would have weapons and their boats buried with them. The ancient Greeks would put a coin under their tongue so they would have money to pay the ferryman.

I'm looting ammo. What kind of afterlife do these people have?

 
I had hoped that when I shot zombie he or she would have their souls released from their mortal coil and be normal people in the afterlife. Shucks.
