PC Windows 10 - Dropping items by "throwing them out" exits game

So, I've gotten myself in a bad habit. Instead of dropping items with the "D" key; as I scavenge, I twitch the mouse off my inventory and let go of the mouse button. i'm guessing this fast, back and forth movement of the mouse is activating the Windows feature that minimizes all open applications.

Anybody else have this issue? Can this be disabled? My google searches didn't turn up a setting to disable the feature. Sometimes I can get back to my game, but mostly, I have to open Task Manager and close the game that way.

Hmm, I'm not having that issue on Windows 10.. Though I could just be too slow :D

You on a modded MP server or is this in SP?

 
The general term for that sort of thing in Windows 7 is gesture commands. Maybe searching for that will turn up some answers.

 
I've had a similar problem with Win 7 where the computer thinks I clicked out of the application window if I click one spot in the middle of the screen, and it applies to all application.

 
Wow, thanks for all the replies. I appreciate your help. I am running a vanilla SP game. I use a Logitech Wireless Trackball M570. I am running in full screen, not windowed.
