PC Will the SI sytem be integrated with the vechicle collision system?

More specifically, are there any complicated physics algorithms that determine what parts of a wall explode outward when you ram a jeep into it, or will it always be like how it is in Madmole's videos, where vehicles pretty much break blocks like humans and zombies do, except it does more block damage the more kinetic energy it has.

I'm a big fan of destruction physics simulations, so if anyone wants to throw technical jargon at me, I'm all ears.
