PC Will bees ever come back again?

I remember they used to be in early versions of the game, added in alpha 2. They'd drop honey jars I believe. I haven't seen these guys since I came back to the game again with alpha 15. Why were they removed?

Bees were removed and vultures fill in the place of flying enemies atm.
Nowadays the best source for honey seems to be knocking down tree stumps.

tree stumps, normal tree cutting with one of the wasteland treasures books (its actually pretty common once you have the book, maybe 1 out of 3 trees last I did a mass cutting)

bees were replaced with vultures as Nugetti said, and personally, I think they fit better...bees irl are actually pretty frail, and I think whatever apocalypse happened would wipe em out almost completely ....now vultures (and by extension other mutated bird species) are prevalent, more numerous and sturdier than insects

I'd still love to have the murder hornets back in the game, they always seemed more menacing to me and it's much more fun to scream "THE BEES!".

There is a mod - Guppycur's Other Creatures - which adds in a pretty badass hornet. Does not give honey, but does give raw meat. Also adds spiders and dogs (wolfhound, beagle, pug, etc.)
