Is there some players that are actively maintaining the wiki?

The game in A18 looks awesome but the wiki is in dear need of love.

I would like to discuss with users actively editing the wiki so we can make it as awesome as the game.

 
I'd be down to help out now that A18 is fleshing out a bit, never use a Wiki for anything (besides Morrowind lol) but I know a lot of new players may use it.

 
I thought about helping that thing out for about 5 seconds... then said, nah.

If you look at everything, some people did a pretty nice job. Almost all of it was a waste of time.

I recommend waiting for gold.

 
Do you know if there is an alternative to the export icons command to get all items icons from the game to a folder?

I'll jump in and help once I get caught up on projects. A18 was big enough of a jump to warrant an overhaul.

Yea A18 is intense!

 
I would love to see the Wiki updated. It can be difficult to find correct information regarding this game and with some of the Wiki information being back from A15 or earlier it can be even harder. It would take a dedicated team to keep on it with how often they are changing/adding/removing things though.

 
I used to work on the wiki during A17, adding quite a few changes myself. Recently it's more of a play 7DTD or update wiki decision (on which i pondered a bit), but considering there is A LOT to update on the wiki and i have a lot IRL, i don't know really when i'll put in the time.

If you really want, it's not that hard. Just log in and start the changes. That's how i did it. Preferrably, stick to a style that is visible here and there (especially on recent pages) and you'll be good.

 
Someone recently complained about the Wiki and here I found a thread of people wanting to actually make something happen. If anyone else is interested in updating the wiki for A18 you can coordinate efforts here.

 
I wonder how far A19 is.

I wonder what will change in A18.

I wonder how hard it will be to set up a list and we each pick a page to maintain.

Like I'd pick the pages for lets say the properties and costs of some food items, and I can maintain those, and the next person pick lets say the things you make in the cement mixer, and so on.

 
FWIW I added 9mm HP and AP ammo and made some tweaks to SMG-5. I might try to take a run through all of the ammo and weapon pages over the next week or two. I don't think any of the schematic-only or book-only stuff is up to date.

 
There were a group who were organizing as they were updating items, I pinged them to come check out this thread :) The more the merrier!

 
Can anyone help with info on Land Claim Blocks relevant to Alpha 18? I hear people say they prevent Zombie Spawns within their radius, just need to confirm this. I was under the impression only a bedroll did this. I think the Land Claim Block info on the wiki is from Alpha 17.

Indeed it prevent zombies from spawning in that area. When I use a POI as a base the POI zombies reappear, putting a Land Claim Block prevent that.

Worth noting also that sometimes the description of some items in game are incomplete and we need to look in the XML to check the effect of some items/blocks...

 
I correctly updated some of the schematics requirements to be correctly aligned with the current patch, some were displaying skill levels rather than only being found in books and so fourth.
