PC Why is Trader so FAR?!

Not sure if this will be addressed in later alpha, but why is the initial trader for the noobie quest completion generates so far away on our map???

I mean, for the very first trader, we need to complete the quest, and also I thought they want us to interact with trader early on for his workstations, before we have our own, and also buy some food, tools, etc.

Instead, my recent world, the dang trader is 1.8 km away - probably have to cross numerous bad biomes like wasteland, like my last trader... why should noobs be forced to venture into dog/vulture/zom-bear land to finish the first entry level task quests??? It''s just stupid. Can't you code in something like.... "first trader generated <= 0.75 km" or something??

It's totally random based on where you spawn in at, and where the traders are located. I've spawned in almost on top of a trader, and also as far as almost 4m away on a 16k map.

The quest will choose the trader closest to your location. If it takes you some time to get there, that's not a big deal. It's not like you HAVE to go visit the trader. Also note that the traders are placed when the map is first generated. They aren't placed when you pick up the quest.

1.8km is good based om my last few 16k maps, had one 9km away. Just wait until you get bicycle or above if you dont feel like walking. Its part of the RNG gods plan to encourage exploration on you lazy heathens, now git gone!
