PC While waiting for Alpha 17 to drop, what other game are you playing or excited for?

Rising World ... It may look at bit familiar to the 7D2D folks.
Voxel based terrain, random generated worlds, lots of detailed crafting ( think 7D2D mods not Vanilla ), more flexible like the ability to resize blocks ( what can come in handy for things like making long windows that are 1.5 blocks high ), ...

Fishing, Boats, Temperature, Horses ( and camels ), are now in-game...

No zombies or NPC enemies as of yet but a fairly impressive game from a single developer so far.

Did the menu change meanwhile? I tried it like 2 years ago and the menu and crafting HUD where horrible.

I've been playing Fortnite, and Minecraft 1.13. I did recently start State of Decay, but got hit hard by a wave of depression and just kind of abandoned it. I should probably pick it back up, it was fun.

With Minecraft I'm kind of experimenting with 1.13 as I haven't updated Minecraft since 1.8.8, and have been playing the same file (one I made in 1.7) here and there for nearly five years.

I might roll back to 1.12 though, at least to generate worlds, as it would appear they removed the custom map generation in 1.13. The "buffet" thing is meh, ironically it's something I wanted since they introduced superflat.

Alternatively, maybe I could find some way to mod map generation, but I don't really want to put forth the effort. Nor do I want to invest a ton of time into Minecraft, since I don't play it as religiously as I used to back in highschool.

Really I just want to play around in creative mode, which I actually never played much of. I always preferred playing in survival mode; gathering supplies, mining things out, etc. always felt more substantial than poofing things into existence.

I picked up "The Long Dark". It's brutal.

I'm on the default difficulty and still learning the ropes.

Dead by Daylight, Pillars of Eternity, Dota 2, and some others
Honestly though, Fallout 76 is going to hit at or near A17's drop, and their "biggest alpha release of all time" is going to run head-first into the hype train for FO76.
I'm probbably gonna dive into A17 first. FO76 will have some bugs at launch and also I'll be waiting for a discount. It's hard to justify 60-80 eur price tag after I buying 7d2d for only 20 or so. I'm doubtful I'll ever have the same amount of hours in FO76 then I already have in 7d2d.

started with swtor after a 5 year pause. love the story mode. playing as a bad sniper agent currently. so many people to kill, or just plain disillusionize, make bitter and feel the pain....

Meh, I'm ticked with swtor right now, because they have not done the Jaesa returning story yet.

Battle Brothers. Looking forward to their next DLC. It will be massive. :)

Also play TWD: Road to Survival on mobile.

Bought Darkest Dungeon during the recent steam sale. If you’re into dungeon crawlers the voice acting by Wayne June is absolutely amazing and the artwork is phenomenal.

Still working my way through Titan's Quest on Linux, waiting for Tropico 6 and SoTR to come to Linux. And yes, still working through The Sims 3 cause The Sims 4 sucked so badly.

And getting sucked into Oxygen Not Included....

Rimworld A19

Would anyone care to purchase a tan, warm, moist, leather cowboy hat?

I'm playing Mist Survival. It was released into EA not that long ago, and has very little content in it, but I find it quite charming.
How is Mist Survival? My initial impression was "oh wow another unity based survival game. How original...".

As with many other EA games, it has a lot of potential and very little content at the moment. There is certain logic behind game mechanics that I like. It gets regular updates, which is always nice. It was totally worth $10 I spent on it.

Kage848 has a few videos playing it, might want to check it out.

I pre-ordered fallout 76, so I'll be jumping in the beta for that later this month... Looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. Seems like Bethesda might have gotten it right from early looks, but opening up Fallout to multiplayer is a... big task.

Empyrion Alpha 8.

The new updates they did this summer are great! and really gave new life to the game.

I owe them a huge "thank you" to help distract me waiting for 7D2D release.... in fact I don't even miss it right now while in Empyrion.

i've been addicted to fortnite all of 2018, first PvP game i've really enjoyed since Halo 3. I'm 36 and never thought i would enjoy it, but its been a ton of fun. found a good group of guys to play with and its been a blast. The hate that game gets cracks me up. there is always something to get better at in that game.

Really looking forward to playing blackout, will have a lot of fun with that game for a while. The beta was great. I somehow got hooked on battle royal games, the rush you get from winning is different than other games.

Also playing spiderman, Destiny 2 and Scum. Red Dead will also get a lot of playtime!

7d2d is gonna have to be really good to get me hooked again with all the other great games to play. Especially since all friends have no interest in coming back! games are just way better with people to play with.

CoD blackout looks like they actually put some care into it. I've been playing fortnite as well, though I bought the game last July before there was even PvP in it. (PL91, PM me if you wanna add me on epic) The dark ages with no gold store, no schematic caches to find schematics from just playing missions, no hoverboard, sprinting costing your stamina bar, buff pylons lasting only 4 minutes instead of the whole mission, outlanders needing fragments to even use their abilities, etc.

As well as Fallout 4, I think I need to get that new vortex mod manager nexus has put out cos stuff isnt downloading to NMM anymore and it says Install Vortex on the nexus site rather than install NMM now.
