PC Which developer thought this was fun

The zombie vulture challenge is usually the first challenge regarding hunting that I am able to complete first.  The only other ones I completed where mountain lions and bears, but that was back in experimental and I literally went on a killing spree in the snow biomes to complete those challenges and the lumberjack one  😉

Typically I just ignore them and aggro pull them in the desert until  I get to the point where I jump off my vehicle and deal with them in mass.  The feathers are nice for iron arrows until I am ready to start producing steel ones in bulk, the rotting flesh is good for farm plots and cans of sham, and lots of bones for glue.

I'm often on edge when they're circling, making flapping noises and cawing, making every suggestion they're coming for you, yet when you look at them they're still up there like, "What? I'm just circling around, minding my own business, brah." When they suddenly activate their turbo and attack you when you're on a bike and you have to stop and deal with them, that gets me a little bit when you can leave every other undead creature in the dust. But when they swoop in and you time it right with a machette, baseball bat or axe and knock 'em for six -- that is satisfying. And when you quickly craft a quick few bolts or ammo in a jiffy afterward, they can work out as a bit of a blessing, actually.

So in light of the new information (new to me at least) I removed my mod and now have vultures everywhere again.

One major annoyance that does remain; they trigger the drone even just circling overhead minding their own business.

I know you can silence the drone, but honestly I find the early warning system to be useful and this is generating false positives.

And on the flip side, if you need feathers brush up against a cactus and have a zombie hit for you more than 10 points of damage and the delivery service will bring the features right to you.

Except for those occasions when you hit them and they go flying half a mile away, sure. :)

I hate it when I hit  them on a roof and they fly back 20 yards and land on the ground somewhere where I can't separate their carcass from their feathers.

I got a gripe to add, which developer thought the battery bank needed a migraine inducing sound?

I want to box his ears.
