Where are the Human Enemies?

Like the Bandits, the Raiders and the Marauders Even Street Pirates Are They in the Game or Are They Coming Soon Just Asking.

The roadmap shows the timeframe.  Bandits are still coming.

 
I'm wondering how they're going to work - the bandits. Will they just spawn in the world or have bases? Will you encounter them randomly in other POIs? Will they be part of quests - like, go here and kill these darn bandits! Or will they turn up randomly and attack your base like a dog horde? 

 
I wouldn't expect much out of them.  POI with them like a base, POI designers could add them to any POI if they choose, maybe roaming.  But I think that is about all unless they introduce a bandit screamer, which would just work basically the same as the existing screamers. They are very likely to have quests associated with them, of course.  And there is supposed to be a faction system, but who knows how that will work.

In the end, other than a different skin and the ability to use weapons, and the expected ducking/dodging/cover mechanics, I wouldn't expect anything really any different from zombies.

 
At this point I feel like bandits are the 7DTD equivalent of the Minecraft running gag/meme of Herobrine.

 
I don't want bandits to attack my base while I'm away, but I would be happy to experience a base assault like Far Cry or Fallout or any number of games that have base assault POIs. 

 
BTW is it only bandits or will there be friendlies like one of those MODs?

I mean if there is factions there has to be friendlies, right?

Or do we have to imagine them because there are traders?  Kinda like water Jars :).

 
I would really prefer to have em roaming the towns/willages on 4x4 randomly entering the POIs and kicking @%$# out of zeds. So kind of imitating normal life 😁

 
We'd pretty much playing Fallout if we had those.

Human enemies could also be the military (Half-Life style), end times cultists, or even zombie commanders, as is implied to be what the Duke is. Why settle with just bandits?

I hope we get to see wandering and base raiding humans. Not just PoI dwellers and such.

They are in the road map and are needed for the story quest unless they completely trash the Duke storyline.

Except they been adding the bandits for YEARS. It's like a running joke around here. My comment was sarcasm.

 
The current state of the game is best served w/o trader as a sole survivor type.  Only human elements would be your friends in co-op.

If you did that you could call V1.1 Gold, then do an expansion pack in another 10 yrs with the rest.
