Really? It's more than one year that they don't release updates! After 600+ hours in game i feel to bad review this game
You go show them who's boss! That's what I say. For the price of a Starbucks coffee and a scone, you deserve much MUCH more than the best voxel game on the market! You deserve possibly the best game ever... and NOW!

***At Al's Marine and Disco Dance nights for zombie bears and stripper zombies, we strongly suggest you do not make fun of the dancing bears... Unless you give management time to start the cameras rolling! ***

Doors don't attract zombies just because they exist. The door is only more attractive than the wall next to it and only to a certain degree. If air is next to it, they will chose the air.
Air confirmed for A17!!

You are still playing but i don't since months and i think that i'm not the only one. Servers are empty. This game is dead right now.
5,597 people playing right now in the middle of a work day.
I'd say that's not dead.

Dead would be 0

I asked about it in the other thread.. guess we have to wait for Roland to wake up :(
<yawn> Good Morning!

I’ll be moving all this release date chatter to the other thread in a bit. Just waiting for Mimic to post first. ;)

Out of curiosity, does anyone know any other EA (early access) games where an update took 16 months? Just wondering. Might have to contact Guiness.

Dead would be 0 yeah. How would one classify 6000 players out of 2 million+ units sold? Comatose?

I know this has been mentioned, but HOLY CRAP. 600+ hours in a game (that you obviously enjoy), and NOW you're gonna go bad-review the game just because the devs are taking longer than you'd like? Could you BE more entitled?

So much nope. Between playing with my friends on my server and trying out mods on my SP, I've logged more that 1400 hours in-game. Even if I'd paid full price for 7D2D (The whopping what...$24?), I've still gotten my money's worth. So even if the game WERE dead (which it most assuredly is NOT), I got what I paid for -- an enjoyable Early Access game that is COMPLETELY PLAYABLE IN ITS CURRENT STATE.

stockholm syndrome *intensifies*
*sigh* Firstly, nobody's being held captive here. Except, maybe, by their own inescapable inability to just accept that good things take time. That, however, is NOT TFP's fault. Also, rebutting ABSOLUTE WHINGING STUPIDITY is not "Stockholm Syndrome" or any other sort of white-knighting. Some of us are just kind of tired of the same whining arguments and self-entitled grandiose threats of bad reviews, boycotting, and all the other ABSOLUTELY USELESS crap that people wanna spit at TFP for no reason other than "BUT I WANTZ ALL MUH UPDATES NAO, DAMMIT."

Unless I misunderstand your post (and it's highly possible I do), this statement is just asinine.

Not to be argumentative (Well, maybe a little), 5,500 players globally out of well over 2.5 million copies sold is pretty dead by most people's definition. As someone that runs one of the top 10 ranked 7dtd servers, player population has been dismal lately. But, I am looking forward to the release of A17. The players will come back, as they always do with a new update. It just sucks having to spend all this money running servers with so few people playing. That is my choice of course, but a necessary evil to stay high in the rankings.

It is known that by using capslock one's argument increases in validity. It is known.

Good things takes time. Yep. Bad things as well. There is no correlation between quality and quantity.

What does EA early access have to do with 7 days to die. Early access is not the same as alpha for 7 days to die if that's where you're trying to take it if not i dont know if your comment is just a random one. Even so you're comparing EA millions of employees to get a update through to 7 days devs of what 15-20.

And 6000 players for this time a day which is 10am is great. Many people are at work or at school. if u look on steamcharts they have avg 6000 players a day since 2014 so yea the game isnt dying. They aren't growing but definitely not dying.

Umm, yes there is.... By your logic, amazing things can be made in minutes. This is not usually the case.

Of course, there are always exceptions. Babies are one example that springs to mind :smile-new:

And if my entire post had been in capslock, your statement might have merit. It was not. I used the caps to emphasize the portions of my statement that I wished to emphasize. As is common, and you know it. You also knew why the caps were used, you simply chose to respond with the most baseline (and invalid) treatment of the situation. Perhaps I could have bolded, or italicized, or any other form of creating visual emphasis, but I didn't. Deal.

Handwaving away the entirety of the statement because you wanna be unnecessarily pedantic is juvenile. And typically, you're better than that.

Well.. if quantity is directly linked to quality, the new airport in Berlin is going to be the best in the world..

It depends on the subject of course. The subject here being game development. A certain amount of time spent on a product does not equal a certain amount of quality. If quality if quantifiable at all..
