Lets agree that you wrote up he conditions a bit ambiguous and I went for the wrong interpretation.

Look, it was all crystal clear in my head; not my fault you can't read minds! 
I should also clarify that the "charge a couple bucks" idea would be Steam charging us a couple of bucks to be able to share 7D2D with a friend, with some of that (piddling) revenue flowing to TFP. So if I want to hook my friends on it, maybe it costs me $2 to share the license for a week and TFP gets $1. And then presumably a full sale after my friends are addicted.
