PC When did you start playing?

29 November 2016...1300hrs. Recently unlocked the "hidden game" and with the help of some of the modders here, have increased this games play ability to suit my preferences.

Excellent use of "prolly" ;)
I used to be a 'light' word/spelling/grammar nazi. Have learned a 'little' more tolerance. (Was always mindful of non-English speakers.). Still, I do have a couple pet peeves (mostly for nazis), 'literally' being one of them. The other is 'irregardless'. So I created (neoglism) 'misirredisregardlessly' to one-up-man 'irregardless' users. I also created a word to represent the 'art' of using literal one-up-man-ship-words: antimisirredisregardlesslyism.

:smile-new:

Question for the members: When did you purchase 7 Days?

Just a bit of fun to see how long people have been playing this awesome and one of a kind game.

I got into it in Oct 2014. At the time I bought 5 games. 7D2D is the only one of them I've played!

3500+ hours of SP play so far, yet I still haven't wired a single electrical component so far (I lose interest once I've got all the books / perks / skills maxed, and will restart, plus I play Dead Is Dead style, which is why I gripe so much about dog packs, bears and wolfl packs).

Thank you @Roland and @Faatal for all of the updates!

I bought the game on Dec, 19, 2013.

My current steam account logs just shy of 4k hours, although that isn't accurate,as in 2015 there was an issue with my steam account and my timer was reset. Including offline play and my lost time I am actually close to 10K total hours played. I remember trees being lethal and blocky terrain where you had to hop up hills. At this point I only play dead is dead and have for a while, usually only dying now due to carelessness or occasionally overconfidence. My preferred weapons are crossbow and spiked club.

Am I a fanboy....yes....but, only after watching the game grow and develop for years. Do I agree with everything TFP do....No, but then again we aren't there yet...Wherever that may be. Personally I get the impression that TFP are doing what they are; as much out of a love of what they do as the money they make from doing it. Some people would call that living the dream....

Sept 2016, 1200+ hours played.

Lots of other hours prefabbing and making a little mod.

Quite a few hours trying to knowledge share prefabbing too.

Thank you @Roland and @Faatal for all of the updates!
I look forward to A17, but am happy to wait until you all deem it as ready. Been playing A16.4 Vanilla on Nav to get refamiliar with it and then will play A17e the same way to. Thinking that is the best way to see the changes.

I will play with 2 hour day (to maximize the ability to experience the changes)

I also turn loot respawn off (I can not wrap my head around an answer to 'Who replaces the loot?")

July of 2016 don't remember how many hours, but the hours doesn't matter to me; it is how much fun I have had and do I feel the price was worth it -- and the answer is yes.

Fair point. And credit where credit is due.

For all the pissing and moaning, and I know I've offered some pissing and moaning myself, proof is in the puddin.

I've got twice the play time, plus some, and that 1200+ hours didn't include my start into 7D2D on console, which probably another few hundred hours could be added... More than twice the play time of any other steam game.

Minecraft with a challenge.

Build something to be tested against by a real foe.

That's what I was looking for from the start.

Hit the nail on the head TFP. Well played. Hm... It's nice to remember the original why's now and then.

Purchased in May 2016

1393 hours on record, although I could swear some of the time I played mods didn't get logged, because that number wasn't budging for a while even though I was playing.

This April, of 2018. I'm relatively new compared to most here, came across the game from a streamer while I was checking out other content. Logged 1100 hours since, though I suspect I might have left the title screen on overnight/running errands a few times. I never experienced pre-16.4, but played the crap out of the current version. Currently taking a break until A17.

Because I really support this Game, I bought it again multiple Times to gift to my Friends.

I miss the old thread.
No, I asked a question a few pages back about when people bought the game. Just something to give us something to talk about.

I am happy to see we have a nice mix of ranges!

About plans and due dates:

It reminds me of when I was in the Army and the Sgt. would say: All plans go to #*&% at first contact. (First contact in this context is engaging the enemy. Not ala Star Trek :) )

Well since this thread is now officially off topic discussions I might as well share.

Hello My name is Kamouille and I'm a 7DTD addict. I first tried it in December 2014 and since then I could not stop. When the base product feels too boring I install mods to fight the withdrawal. Even in the periods when I'm not playing I come to the forum for my daily dose. It got even worse since A16e. After the stream event I got the habit to watch G4K's gameplays daily. Then I discovered Neebs Gaming serie, I binge watched it all in a night. I know with 1k hours logged and half that in offline play I'm just a noob here. But thanks all the same to accept me in this support group.
