PC What's the point?

You know whenever you start a new map, and in your toolbelt is a note from the duke. What's the point of the note? Usually, I just throw it on the ground and go on my way.

It is kind of like to origin story. It's a clue about how you got to be where you are, and will tie into the full story when it is added.

I have also been throwing that note away as soon as I start a new game. It might be relevant in future so it is still in but I am happy they removed the land claim block which I always also threw away.

At least when it was easy to make with stone lol. I never threw it away when it needed metal. I kept it for the forge.

yeah i use to do the same and smelt my claim block, especially since it was just me and my wife playing lol

Ah I remember that, the old scrap your land claim and make an iron Reinforced club, damn....its been some time ahhhh good times.
