I don't wear an armor type.  At least, not in the way that you mean.  Yes, I obviously wear one type of armor, but it has nothing to do with type.  I wear the armor that has the better bonuses, without regards to the armor type.  If they switched the armor I like to another type, I would keep using the armor I like without caring that the type was switched.  Before the new armor, I used heavy armor because that was the type I wanted.  Now, I use medium, I believe... Only because I like the bonuses of ranger armor (minus the worthless set bonus or the worthless bonus on the gloves).  I use biker gloves instead of ranger gloves.

 
Straight up "depends on build"; assy set for stealthing etc.. prefer a light set for "day-to-day" stuff thou, been swapping between a combo of heavies and a set of primitives in my miner game, need to start finding some sewing kits someday soon...

 
Priest's outfit. The exceptions are gardening and mining, in which case I change into the appropriate outfit.

 
Depends on the build and the situation. I currently play a brawler build and wear the preacher armor. I mainly need mobility at the moment. In the long term, I might switch to Raider armor or Nomad armor.

 
I've been naturally gravitating to the enforcer armor if I'm doing an agility playthrough. I usually don't wear the full set until I get a six shooter though. My most recent playthrough I'm using clubs so I went heavy and I'm finding the raiders armor to be very good. I feel like I can just stand in the middle of a group of zombies and be fine. But I use the nomad head and boots in my day to day playing for style and run speed boost. I really haven't been able to force myself to use medium armor, lol.
