What to do when servers are down?

When the servers are down, how do we let those at fun pimps or wherever know and on average how long does it take to get the servers back up and going? Noticed on down detector a big spike in reports of down servers that fail to connect players to servers.

Very easy to answer: The fun pimps do not operate any servers, they don't need to know. Except if it is because of bugs, then server owners could post their logfiles here as part of a bug report.

Servers are operated by players just like you. They often have a page here in the forums or a discord channel or a place somewhere else where they can be contacted in case of problems.

EoS had an outage last night. The issue wasn't that the servers were down, but that the network managing server lists and connectivity was.

For reference, these are the four primary networks that can affect your ability to play online.

• Epic Games Public Status (All Platforms)
  
• Steam Status (Steam PC, not official but it's the best we have.)

• XBN Status (MS Store PC and Xbox S/X)
