PC what should the game have more of..

As to your number 4: Having normal zombies that can run once its dark out is also kinda gimicky and silly imo. As for radiation zombies? Sniper rifle headshots usually 1-2 shots them even on survivalist. With some exceptions. Sniper rifle has a x9 headshot mult in a16, highest in game iirc. I do feel they need to tone their regen down somewhat as the ticks come way to fast.
It is but at least personally, at the moment, I can't think of a better way to differentiate night gameplay from day gameplay (which is a nice concept), without changing a lot of things.

Well, having glowing upgrades of already existing zombies is kind of anti-climatic, both from a gameplay and thematic perspective for me. From a gameplay perspective - it's not about the difficulty but nothing changes, you just need to shoot more bullets, and from a thematic standpoint I find it very cartoon-ish. Normal zombies and special zombies could be much more formidable (without being bulletsponges) by being more unpredictable (not "clever") and with more ... interesting abilities. If they were, we wouldn't need a linear difficulty increase with just upgrading and increasing zombies with a green glow as the game progresses. Difficulty increase could be much more interesting, with the players seeing new different things as the game progresses and that is with almost the same amount of content we have now.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!Made my Day!!!!

I just don't want another patch note telling me that X or Y looks ''better'' now

just to find out that even less Zeds are running around in the world

because if we continue that trend we will have to axe the zombie-''horde'' out of game description

I think TFP might be over that hurdle.

UMA zombies were a fantastic idea.

They allowed random and customizable zombies. Modders loved em!

Unfortunately, in a voxel world that uses quite a lot of resources already, Unity didn't like UMA's at all.

But since TFP moved on and optimized stuff.... it's looking good.

A scenario with 64 zombies even amidst large buildings runs really well. [At least on my comp... maybe not all.]

Ive said it since its first reveal:

The irradiated lightbulbs look terrible.

Its basically the same as with the first iteratation of the burnt zombie... if some of u remember!

If they toned the glowing down quite a bit (like the current burnt Zombie) theyd be a lot more acceptable.

I agree. Zombies don't populate the world enough. Towns and cities at the very least should be full of zombies but they aren't. This is especially evident in multiplayer where players are spread out. Unless you have a supercomputer server players won't run into many zombies because you have to keep the limit low. The changes to random worlds prevents this too. Cities used to be their own biome but they aren't anymore. You can't make zombie spawns higher in cities than other places anymore.

is that for 8 players or they stretching it?

This. I would happily go back to the low-res zombie models if it meant we could have higher numbers alive at once.

I'd love a reason to build a BIG base.

I still hope survivor communities comes into the game at some point, that you can build an entire community rather than a single person base. As it stands, I can build a fully functional base in about a 5x5x5 footprint (sans farms of course).

I'd also prefer to see the primary threat from zombies be their sheer numbers again, not their path finding ability (though I do like the improvements in their path finding).

Dialog option to tell the npc to do their own silly quests.

Dialog option to ask if an npc want to do your quest.

Dialog option to ask if an NPC can give you some cookies.

Recipe book for cookies and cakes.

Zombie bait/lure.

Fishing.

Spears.

Copper and zinc ore, for making brass.

edited: Almost forgot, dialog option to negoitate reward.

I agree that zombie variety would be a big improvement. Even if this is just a visual thing, perhaps using randomised skin colours, clothing, wounds, hair etc. If you could have a group of 10 of the same Z in front of you and it looks actually like 10 different people that would be a big plus for immersion. I also agree that the "glow" effect should be toned down.

The trend should also be for more/weaker zombies rather than less/bullet sponges. The fear of being overrun by the hoard is one of the best this game has to offer. I'm ok with head one-shotting them when they can suddenly be almost coming from everywhere, particularly if you've made a lot of noise. Imagine setting off an explosion in the middle of town and see them all start streaming out of the nearby houses.

Zombies! Hordes would be nice instead of streams! Massive hordes, not that spreaded streamlines groups.
