PC What is the most useful item to loot in the first hour of the game?

Im in the Wrench camp.   Honey is always nice, but I want the wrench more often.

I've never looted a silencer on day one but I have seen it for sale at the trader on day one. bought it as soon as I could.

First thing I always do it gather a good supply of the basics. (wood, stone, fibers, feathers, chrysanthemum) Then I hunt houses for food and a pot.

what kind of pot the cooking kind or the plant kind XD XD XD

Wrench for me.  It's almost impossible to find mechanical parts in loot so you can't even craft one if you buy Salvage Operations.  Cooking pot second, although I typically get Advanced Engineering and make a forge within the first couple days.
