PC What is purpose of Resource Bundles?

I don't get it. The weight doesn't slow you down, it still takes up a slot. What is the purpose of the bundle?

They stack higher than the raw resource. Needs a LOT of digging to become significant, but for those who spend days on mining trips, should be nice.

As in, you have 5 stacks of small stones => you compress them into one stack of resource bundles.

Crafting bundles also give a hefty amount of xp but the amount u get degrades until you get nothing from making bundles. You can do this for each kind of bundle though. It will start by giving like 17k xp then reduce it several times before giving 0.

It allows you to bulk pack resources at 80% cost. For example, if it's 1000 Stone Arrows, and Stone Arrows take 1 each of Wood, Stone, and Feathers, you can bulk craft a box of 1,000 for 800 of each (Wood, Stone, Feather) - a 20% gain. It also reduces the number of inventory slots required for carrying large sums of resources.

Isn't that a different thing; you're talking about the "ammo boxes" that are crafted cheaper.

He was asking about the "Resource Bundles" (title) that you learn from Art of Mining books. They can be unpacked and that would lead to infinite resources if they were "cheaper" to make.

Just pointing out so we don't confuse too many others ... :)
