What exactly will be released with 2.0? Are we getting weather effects or will it be the old over heating and cold system we had?

Have any of the 2.0 features been removed or adjusted or further delayed to be added later on since this updates release date is unknown? Such as well we couldn't get this feature working so it's gonna have to wait till 2.1 or 2.2 or whatever.

What exactly will this 2.0 update be adding because with all these delays I can't help but feel that some stuff is going to be cut out or abandoned entirely like the zip lines and behemoth boss.

If you ordered during the first 24 hrs you could’ve gotten a set of Ginsu Knives and a bamboo steamer but alas that window has closed.

Crater Creator keeps that list up to date so if there have been changes the current list includes those.
So everything in the list is still going to be part of 2.0? This whole several week delay hasnt had anything removed? Or any of those features delayed further into some other update like 2.1 or 2.2?

The entire reason for the delay was so that all of the features will be included and functional when it is ready for public bug testing.

I looked through the list and the only edit I would make to it is where it says “Several” new zombie types. That usually carries the implication of 5-7 and there are not that many new zombie types. There are just the two new ones mentioned (desert and snow) and some updates/enhancements to two existing (burnt and wasteland)

There are some new things not on the list so not only is everything on that list accurate to what is going into 2.0, there is more yet to be revealed that isn’t on that list.

The only thing to really keep in mind is that some things may not be ready in experimental, but will be there for stable.

Good idea, thanks Roland. Ever since the announcement that V2.0 would be “delayed by several weeks,” the word “several” has been the most scrutinized term in the whole update, so I’ll avoid using it there. :)

Replacing "several" with "unspecefied number of", would that help?

To be clear, I changed “several new zombie types.” The “delayed for several weeks” is verbatim from the social media post, so it’s the most official word.

Candidly, “several weeks” isn’t how I would have put it, based on what I know still needs to be done as of today. But me throwing another estimate into the mix probably wouldn’t help anything.

Well, faatal's latest statement was a 50/50 chance for being ready before June.  Considering it's TFP, let's just change that to 10/90 chance.  ;)

Exactly. There will always be people discussing and guessing what the exact meaning would or should be instead of accepting the unpredictability of the proces.

(Sorry I forgot any sarcasm indicators in my post 🫠)

What's with the optimism?   ;)
You know what they say. Pessimists are optimists with experience. 😁

We know from experience that certain things usually happen before a new version is released. For example, there are usually developer streams weeks before the experimental release. Then there is the Streamer Weekend. Registration for that has not started yet. 3 weeks is a bit short for all that to happen, unless the Fun Pimps have decided that they don't need all that anymore and just release the experimental version.
