PC What are those chemistry tools used for? A17 unstable

I keep finding these chemistry tools hidden behind break-away blocks and up in the rafters of some houses, they don't seem to have an interaction, can't pick them up and smashing them doesn't give any resources. Are they used for anything, or purely just for decoration?

It's a bug. They were introduced in B240 but it seems they haven't been tested If they are supposed to give chemistry stuff, I also think they are too many of them everywhere.
