PC What are the rules regarding Achievements?

I know that you cannot earn achievements if you have ever enabled the creative menu in a save game but what about multiplayer? Can you only earn achievements if you are the host? If you join someone else's game are you unable to earn achievements? This is the Playstation version I'm talking about.

Hello Roland weird seeing you here in the console forum but welcome. You can earn achievements as a client you do not have to be host in order to unlock them. I play on a slim ps4 and have almost all unlocked via joining online play. Make sure the host didnt enable cheat mod or creative

What above said. It doesn't matter single or multiplayer as long as not cheat/creative has been turned on. Got platinum on playstation but because the console can only have 4 players at a time getting those kills is a pain lol. Good luck
