How you privately asking me not to use your mod through a private message and you getting it's a breech of forum rules is BEYOND me. Again, you think of yourself as knowing a little something about everything. I see nothing, by the above rules, that state you couldn't have privately contacted me about a matter like this.

Are you telling me this, sub-forum, has a rule that overshadows this rule, right off the main site rules page?

I meant what you're doing, regarding trying to get my models working on a server and thus redistributing them, is a breach of forum rules and thus I wanted to resolve it on the forum since that's where the infraction took place.

Nothing professional about that. You came at me, publicly, with no real proof of anything that had actually been "done" and called me a pirate.

To an old-timer like me that's slapping me in public because i've fought against piracy for YEARS because i know what it was doing to the reputations of PD swappers back in the day.

You could have dealt with this better and you know it. I could have dealt with all of this better, but that's one deep insult to an old guy like me. I was NEVER planning on distributing your code, but you didn't ask me about how i do things. I don't distribute code, i let the gamers download it and the code i wrote, they could have used that, but i wouldn't have uploaded anything belonging to you to them. I don't do that.

No, you haven't done it yet, but you wanted help to do so... and don't say you weren't going to because anyone wanting to connect to your server would need the files.

Again, I already said I probably did come in a little hot AND apologised for it.

Now please start acting like the adult you claim to be, go back and look at what you've been doing, understand WHY I classified that as piracy and at least try to understand WHY I acted and dealt with this in the way that I did... especially if you claim to be fighting against piracy because of the PD days.

I wanted help on writing my own code to make it work as a simple zed mod and nothing else. I asked no one to help me distribute anything. Someone mentioned, a long time ago, about 3d had to be on both sides but i had that worked out not to involve me directly. And since they don't download the 3d, from my server (i don't even think they can) i didn't see where i was doing any pirating.

Yes, i agrued with you about copyright, but that's all. Yes, we could have both handled it better but i would have preferred it in private and it could have ended so quickly without all this.

You telling me i'm doing something i've not even doing is like something out of Minority Report. I've bought over 2000+ games so pirating is not what i do.

You could also be adult and admit you "assumed" rather than knew. Talking about terrorism is not the same as flying two planes into two american towers now is it? And i explained i didn't distribute code already.
