My friends and I just finished the second horde night (day 14). It was fun. The base held up well and we gained a bunch of levels. I used iron spikes beneath electric fences combined with SMG auto-turrets to shoot the slowed zeds. We were shooting also, of course.
That said, something may be broken. The first few days we found normal, ball ammo. Maybe half a steel chest worth. Then I started finding HP ammo as we levelled. Cool! I got maybe one steel storage chest full, then I started finding AP ammo. Not a fan of AP because it goes THROUGH the zed and damages stuff around it, like our base. All of my SMG turrets (40) were full of 9mm AP we found. The two of us that were on (other friend was not feeling good) used AP also. I still have two chests of 7.62 AP, half a chest of 9mm AP, and a full chest of 44mag AP. I also have a crap-ton of shotgun slugs (full chest) but only a few stacks of normal shotgun shells.
What's going on? We're mid-level but I would think we could still find ball and HP ammo around. I cannot even sell the AP because the traders only buy two or three stacks at a time. Can we get a magic converter to change these AP into HP or ball ammo? Are we supposed to get exclusively AP after a certain level?
