Way to input console commands automatically

Does anyone know if there is a way that a series of console commands can be automatically forced through the console each time the game starts?

My inquiry is purely in regards to a single player game, I have a few commands that I run each time and would just like to streamline the process a little.

It's mainly simple stuff like FOV etc, and whilst I understand that there are registry entries concerning things like this, I cant seem to get these registry edits to stick upon a game restart and was hoping there was another way.

Yeah, sadly the best way I have come across so far was to record a keyboard macro that ran through the whole process, its weird, but it does the job I guess, and sure beats the hell out of typing them in each time
