Waiting Server

When trying to get into the server (peer to peer) of my husband, the message appears during the loading screen: "waiting for server". And stays that way until I throw the game to the desktop.

I would appreciate any help. I have already done clean uninstall and I have tried other servers and the same thing happens to me.
