Very big issue with joining friends server.

Okay... so I'm getting this error.



Things I've tried.

Restarted computer twice,

Restarted steam twice,

Restarted 7 days to die 20 times.

Resarted server 2 times.

Uninstalled and Reinstalled game once.

Shut off my router twice and tried to re-connect.

What the hell? :l (Been trying to fix this for 2 1/2 hours)

I have 25 hours played with my friends on this server so far and I've had no issues at all lately.

Also, I'm trying to join a friends private server but the server won't list at all in the listings of friends playing servers. I've also tried the right clicking of a friend playing the server and hitting join but it doesn't work.

i think he needs to open his ports in the routerconfig. if he have 25000 as port, open UDP and TCP 25000 - 25003

and change the rule for the windows firewall (server sided)

I'd have him open 25000-25005 on udp, the 3 port rule that was in use hasn't been working to list the server in the server browser. If its just for friends server, then he doesn't need to open the udp ports, just connect via ip and port.

if i run a server on my own machine, so i need to create a rule for udp and tcp, to connect. idk. if it is the same :/. just helping
