Vehicle Manager towed my vehicle 3 times!

Hello Survivors,

I recently patched to the latest Alpha 21.2 (trying to get Darkness Falls running. Must have had something in my eye, thought i was up to date.... that's a different story.)

Since updating to 21.2 and DF, I have been having my vehicles randomly explode in my Base/POI, when I bring up the de@%$# i see this message.

this is the 3rd time since sunday that my vehicle went missing, this time, I actually saw the explosion in my base's basement. It was just in a resting state, and nothing was interacting with it...

I haven't used any of the vanilla vehicles. just the modlets that came with Darkness Falls mod.... and its been random to a point. This last vehicle lasted in game 8 hours.. about the same as the others... just trying to grasp when the public parking authority is gonna come again and dispose/repo my vehicles?!?

I am a new poster, but I have been lurking in the shadows for 3 years... just decided its time to come in from the cold and have an old beer.

Glad to have ya here, and you can have some fresh beer :D ... although good stouts/ales do get better with age, but you know lol.

Honestly not sure what's going on there, I'm wondering if that's an issue DF has since that is a large overhaul. Maybe it's the vehicle part, something wrong with a configuration in them.

The INF you're seeing in the console is normal, actually. Vehicles get saved to a chunk and inside the vehicle manager (chunk data says vehicle is in this position in this chunk, vehicle manager also stores that location), and when the chunk is no longer active (nobody there), it will be unloaded and reloaded when someone approaches the chunk. If your vehicles are moving, that would be strange as they generally shouldn't anymore with a bunch of fixes we did a while back. Sometimes the two can conflict, and the vehicle manager should overrule that, which used to cause the chunk to load the vehicle too quickly and then move it since the vehicle manager had it saved differently. 

Hard to say, this certainly doesn't happen in vanilla at all anymore, at least I haven't seen it or anyone having the issue since. I know DF is gigantic, so there's a lot of code in there that may be conflicting with it. 

 
Since I shared this situation, I ran across in game, a vehicle I thought was lost (7k from my base) but still have the other two vehicles I crafted earlier in the week. I tapped the creative menu to pull a vehicle out to test my prefab in world editor, pretty much the same ones I had made on the live seed (I no longer do the coding since I dabbled in on Neverquest 14 years ago )…  not sure if that is relevant. But hate to load up my ride for it to blow up halfway there. Maybe I can get khaine’s attention on discord someday soon and see if ran across it..
